The delivery of ambitious goals towards achieving net-zero targets is the biggest strategic challenge facing the tire manufacturers and their suppliers of technology, equipment and materials today.

As an industry, the goal must be to set – rather than follow – the agenda in areas ranging from sustainable use of resources and recycling to optimising energy efficiency and minimising carbon footprint.

Achieving this will require common approaches and strategies based on openness and transparency that generate new levels of trust among consumers, regulators and the general public.
